New Filters and Features in the Whitelist Builder

New Filters and Features in the Whitelist Builder

Whitelist Builder — is a tool for selecting and segmenting publishers based on data. Recently, it received a new functionality: the ability to filter sites by the .RU domain zone and request additional inventory.

💸 What is it for?

This functionality is essential for everyone working with inventory: buyers, agencies, SSPs, DSPs, and AdOps specialists. Quickly forming a list of suitable websites helps save time, make data-driven decisions, minimize errors, and increase the ROI of advertising campaigns.

🔍 How does filtering work?

  • Site strength — filtering by the "strength" of a site to select strong, medium, or weak publishers for different tasks. Strength is determined by how often the site appears in relevant search queries.
  • Countries — the “Russia” filter shows only .RU domains. In upcoming updates, this filter will split into “Russian-language websites” (by content language) and “.RU domain”, and the block itself will be renamed to “Filters”.
  • Technologies used — filtering sites by specific libraries (AdFox AdFox, Adriver Adriver, Google Google Analytics, CallTouch, Rambler, Sendsay, Digital Caramel, and other integrations, including non-advertising). This allows users to create selections based on their desired tech stack, plan integrations, and analyze the market.
  • Header Bidding Adapters — filter for sites using Header Bidding. You can quickly find publishers already integrated with AstraLab AstraLab or Between Digital Between Digital.
  • Show websites — choose the number of results: 25, 50, 100, 250, or 1000 websites depending on your use case.
  • Request more websites — if the current selection isn't enough, you can click to request additional websites matching the selected filters.

Technology and adapter data is updated every 45 days. On individual domain pages, the date of the last data collection is displayed.

🎯 How can this be useful?

  • Targeted buying: Quickly build a whitelist of websites with the right technologies and SSP integrations.
  • Market analytics: Analyzing implemented technologies and adapters helps assess the competitive landscape and identify potential partners.
  • Flexibility for integrations: Easily plan new solution launches — you can select sites with the required stack or discover platforms using competitor solutions.

🚀 Coming soon

  • More detailed country filters: Upcoming updates will include additional national domains.
  • “Pirate” filter: A filter will be added to search for websites that appeared in thematic selections through search queries.
  • Hide service sites: An option will be added to hide service platforms (Wikipedia, Telegram, and others), focusing only on advertising publishers.
  • Export to CSV/TXT.
  • Domain page: Will show what lists/categories a site belongs to.
