Rutube’s Embed Network Expands

Video hosting Rutube and the advertising platform MoeVideo, specializing in video advertising, have entered a strategic partnership. The goal of this collaboration is to integrate Rutube's content into websites connected to the MoeVideo network. As part of the partnership, a special module will appear in the MoeVideo interface for embedding videos from Rutube, allowing publishers to easily integrate videos by simply providing links to them.

MoeVideo is an advertising platform that allows webmasters to monetize by placing video ads on their sites, even without their own video content. By combining multiple sites, the platform offers advertisers broad reach and diverse advertising options.

For Rutube, this partnership is a significant step in expanding its distribution network. Thousands of MoeVideo partner sites will be able to easily host content from the video hosting service. Increased reach opens up new audience segments for Rutube, enhancing its appeal to advertisers interested in promoting through legal video content.

MoeVideo, in turn, can expect an increase in ad revenue. Adding videos from Rutube expands the platform's advertising inventory. The integration of such content is especially valuable, given the high demand for licensed in-stream content.

The revenue-sharing model (RevShare) allows publishers to earn from ads shown within Rutube videos. Although their share of the profit is likely small, it provides an additional income source with minimal investment.

The RevShare model (Revenue Sharing) is a method of income distribution where ad revenue is divided between the platform and partners, such as Rutube, MoeVideo, and publishers hosting videos on their sites. In this model, each participant receives a percentage of the revenue generated by ads in the videos. This arrangement benefits all parties: the platform increases its audience, the advertiser gains reach, and the partner site earns additional income. The RevShare model is widely used worldwide and is actively implemented on major platforms such as YouTube and Facebook.

Additionally, Rutube has its own embed network—a system that allows site owners to place Rutube videos on their pages through embedded players, earning revenue from ads displayed in these videos. This also uses the RevShare model, but the ad revenue is shared only between Rutube and the site owner.
